THE NIGHTMARE

Just as I was beginning to process this nightmare, another creature appeared, and I recognized my sister, who had come to help with the little one. I nearly passed out when I saw her front legs, which also ended in tentacle-like shapes moving wildly in all directions, tipped with bloody claws. Her head was crowned with impossibly colored manes, and her back legs were resting on sharp spikes.
